Thanks and Support from Renfrewshire Council

May 1, 2018 //  by Editor

Council recognises that the increasing prevalence of Dementia in our communities is one of the major challenges of our
time, and that the need to support those affected and their carers has never been greater. Council therefore welcomes the
establishment of Lochwinnoch as a Dementia Friendly Village, the official launch of which took place on the 27th April 2018,
and commends those who have worked to deliver this valuable and important initiative.

Council will work with Renfrewshire’s Health and Social Care Partnership to ensure that the Lochwinnoch project
receives the necessary support in its future work, and with other communities who may wish to develop similar initiatives.
